Collection of access data
The provider collects data about every access to the online offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. The provider uses the log data without allocation to the person of the user or other profiling in accordance with the legal provisions only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the online offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.
Collection and use of personal data
Personal data is only collected and used by the provider if this is permitted by law or if the user consents to the collection of data. As a rule, it is clear to users when using the service which data is stored, for example name, e-mail address and message when using the order form.
The personal data provided for the purpose of ordering goods (such as name, e-mail address, address, payment details) are used by the seller to fulfill and process the contract. This data is treated confidentially, transmitted in encrypted form and not passed on to third parties who are not involved in the ordering, delivery and payment process. When contacting the provider (via contact form or email), the user’s details are stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise. The provider has taken organizational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are complied with and that accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons is prevented.
Data forwarding to third parties
User data is only forwarded to third parties if this is permitted by law or if a user has consented to the forwarding.
This is the case, for example, if the forwarding of the data serves to fulfill contractual obligations to the user and the postal address is passed on to a shipping company after a store order. Or if the data is requested by competent authorities such as law enforcement agencies. The personal data of users will not be sold or forwarded to third parties for advertising purposes or for the purpose of creating user profiles.
Cookies
The provider uses “cookies” as part of its online offering. Cookies are small files that are stored on the user’s computer and can store information for providers. Temporary cookies are deleted after the browser is closed; permanent cookies are retained for a specified period and can make the stored information available when the online offer is called up again. On the one hand, cookies are used to facilitate the use of the service. For example, a cookie saves the user’s shopping cart status.
The user can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. The provider endeavors to design the online offer in such a way that the use of cookies is not necessary. However, it is pointed out that the use and in particular the ease of use are restricted without cookies.
Revocation, changes, corrections and updates
The user has the right, upon request and free of charge, to receive information about the personal data that the provider has stored about them. Contact details can be found in the provider’s legal notice. In addition, the user has the right to correct incorrect data, block and delete their personal data, provided that there is no legal obligation to retain such data.
Changes to the privacy policy
The provider reserves the right to amend the privacy policy in order to adapt it to changes in the legal situation or changes to the service and data processing.
